2. What is the vision of your company?

Vision: To become the leading regional company in the fluvial transport of liquid cargo and general cargo through innovation, quality, safety and corporate social responsibility.

3. Do you think that your country is concerned in act with responsibility?

It is the feeling of some companies that are committed to equality, respect and justice. Our government seeks to promote the values that are the guidelines for a society and a country with responsible and honest conscience without corruption. We are in this process in which joining forces and the same interests between companies with CSR. With our Government and our Laws, we will achieve good results.

4. What aspects do you consider CSR improves in the business environment that practice it?

The difference, in our surrounding, in many aspects are: in the work environment because the work environment becomes pleasant, respectful, with open communication, which promotes ethical values and rejects corruption and crimes, respecting and enforcing laws and as a result of this, in our external surroundings we make the difference with the competition (other companies of fluvial transportation) before the eyes of potential customers who prefer to do business with us for demonstrating that we have standards of an integrated management system of Security, Health, environment, quality and social responsibility; also, a place of respect and status in our society because new collaborators want to enter to work in our company and new clients look for negotiating with us.

In general, it allows us to maintain contracts and economic stability over time, and allows us to survive in this time of crisis for the oil sector.

5. What changes would you consider that will be in the society if companies succeed in obtaining the Certificate CSR 2011.3?

We would speak the same language, and we would have sense of respect for our neighbor, their rights, and we would fight together against corruption, and raise our voices and our strength to promote laws in government that favor and support much more social responsibility projects. Our society and our country would be an example to follow. We would reach a sustainable level of development like the ones of the developing countries.

6. Which challenges take your company to obtain the Certificate CSR 2011.3?

To renew ourselves in new projects to help us in continuous improvement. To achieve a change in the mentality, the conscience, the feeling of our collaborators, in the inhabitants of the native communities that influence in the areas of our operations of the fluvial navigation; in our authorities and in society in general, to act with values and ethics; and help us promote rejection of injustice, crime and corruption.

7. Which Corporate Social Responsibility projects has your company?

Hiring people from native communities for the surveillance in our water areas and urban facilities.

To train teachers and students of special basic education centers, and collaborators of banking agencies in conjunction with the local authorities for the development of earthquake drills and the correct use of fire extinguishers.

To train the inhabitants of the native communities about the dangers and risks that could exist in an eventual incident of loosening of our convoys or buoys.

8.How do you think your company has contributed to the development of your community?

We contribute our bit in spreading our policy commitments in Corporate Social Responsibility prior to conjoint activities in the development of drills and volunteer trainings to schools on security issues in case of earthquakes by using fire extinguishers.

Courses on the dangers and risks in the care of buoys or water convoys to the inhabitants of the native communities.

Providing employment fulfilling social benefits according to law, permanent trainings to residents of our community and native communities.

9. Do you think CSR is in fashion or has it come to be part of every company that you consider responsible?

Corporate Social Responsibility is no in fashion, but rather came to stay as part of all companies that aspire to have a fair society, with sustainable development and that wants to adopt their voluntary commitments in its Corporate Social Responsibility Policy.

Visión: Convertirnos en la empresa regional líder en el transporte fluvial de carga líquida y carga general a través de la innovación, calidad, seguridad y responsabilidad social empresarial.

3. ¿Considera que su país se preocupa por actuar responsablemente?

Es el sentir de algunas empresas que apostamos por la igualdad, el respeto y la justicia. Nuestro gobierno busca promover los valores que son los lineamientos para una sociedad y un país con consciencia responsable, honesta sin corrupción. Estamos en ese proceso en el que sumando fuerzas y los mismos intereses entre las empresas con RSE, nuestro Gobierno y nuestras Leyes lograremos cosechar buenos resultados.

4. ¿Qué aspectos considera usted que la RSE mejora en el entorno de las empresas que lo practican?

Nos diferencia y favorece en muchos aspectos de nuestro entorno: en el entorno laboral porque el ambiente laboral se torna agradable, de respeto, con comunicación abierta, que promueve los valores éticos y rechaza la corrupción y delitos, respetando y haciendo cumplir las leyes y como resultado de ello, en nuestro entorno exterior marcamos la diferencia con la competencia (otras empresas del rubro del transporte fluvial) ante la mirada de clientes potenciales que prefieren hacer negocios con nosotros por demostrar que contamos con estándares de un sistema de gestión integrado de Seguridad, salud, medio ambiente, calidad y responsabilidad social; asimismo, un lugar de respeto y estatus en nuestra sociedad porque nuevos colaboradores desean ingresar a trabajar en nuestra empresa y nuevos clientes buscan negociación.

En general, nos permite mantener contratos y estabilidad económica en el tiempo, y nos permite subsistir en esta época de crisis para el sector hidrocarburo.

5.¿Qué cambios considera usted que habría en la sociedad si más empresas lograran obtener el Certificado CSR 2011.3?

Hablaríamos un mismo idioma, un mismo sentir de respeto hacia el prójimo, a sus derechos, lucharíamos contra la corrupción, alzaríamos nuestras voces y nuestras fuerzas para promover leyes en el gobierno que favorezcan y apoyen mucho más proyectos de responsabilidad social. Nuestra sociedad y nuestro país sería un ejemplo a seguir. Alcanzaríamos un nivel de desarrollo sostenible similar al de los países de desarrollo.

6.¿Qué retos asume su empresa al obtener el Certificado CSR 2011.3?

Renovarnos en nuevos proyectos que nos ayuden en la mejora continua. Lograr un cambio en la mentalidad, la consciencia, el sentir de nuestros colaboradores, en los pobladores de las comunidades nativas que influyen en las áreas de nuestras operaciones de la navegación fluvial; en nuestras autoridades y en la sociedad en general, para que actúen con valores y ética; y nos ayuden a promover el rechazo a las injusticias, los delitos y la corrupción.

7. ¿Qué proyectos de Responsabilidad Social Empresarial tiene su empresa?

La contratación de personas de las comunidades nativas para el servicio de vigilancia en nuestras áreas acuáticas e instalaciones urbanas.

Capacitar a maestros y alumnos de centros educativos básico especial, a colaboradores de agencias bancarias en conjunto con las autoridades locales para el desarrollo de simulacros de sismos y el uso correcto de extintores.

Capacitar a los pobladores de las comunidades nativas sobre los peligros y riesgos que podría existir en un eventual incidente de soltura de amarras de nuestros convoyes o boyas.

8.¿De qué manera cree que su empresa ha aportado al desarrollo de su comunidad?

Aportamos nuestro granito en la difusión de los compromisos de nuestra Política de Responsabilidad Social Empresarial previo a actividades conjuntas en el desarrollo de simulacros y capacitaciones voluntarias a colegios en temas de seguridad ante sismos con el uso de extintores.

Cursos sobre los peligros y riesgos en el cuidado de las boyas o convoyes acuáticos a los pobladores de las comunidades nativas.

Brindando empleo cumpliendo con los beneficios sociales de acuerdo a ley, con capacitaciones permanente a pobladores de nuestra comunidad y de comunidades nativas.

9. ¿Cree que la RSE es una moda o que ha llegado para ser parte de cada empresa que se considere responsable?

La Responsabilidad Social Empresarial no es ninguna moda pasajera, sino más bien vino para quedarse como parte de, de todas las empresas que aspiran tener una sociedad justa, con desarrollo sostenible y adoptan sus compromisos voluntarios dentro de su Política de Responsabilidad Social Empresarial.

The company’s main business activity is construction of entire buildings.

2. What are the objectives of your company?

The company’s main objectives are to become the leader of the property sector in Peru, to carry out public construction projects for the State and to carry out construction projects in the medium term in Latin America.

The company’s vision is to be the leading company in Peru’s property sector, providing our clients with quality services.

4. What benefits does your company receive as a WORLDCOB member?

The company has received benefits such as staff appreciation through awards, congratulatory family get-togethers, and getting published in the city of Trujillo’s main newspaper for the award we received in Montecarlo.

5. Who are your success models to be followed?

As a model for success, we follow the example of world-leading companies with regard to their level of organization, working environment, their commitment to the natural environment and their commitment to social responsibility.

6. What was your most difficult time and how did you deal with it?

The most difficult moment for the company was during the deficit, which meant we lost a construction job with a state entity, it took us about a year to recover and we had to have support from the financial system to carry out construction projects.

7. What major achievements has reached the company since its inception?

The company has achieved significant success in its 12 years, such as being recognized as the Best Peruvian Company in construction for the past four years in a row, the Latin American Quality Awards in Panama City, Sao Paulo, Santiago and in Mexico City in November, and the Latin American leadership awards in Puerto Vallarta, Nassau and Cusco.

8. What projects has your company planned?

We have projects in our sector that contain more than 500 units for sale, ranging from apartments to offices, distributed in 5 projects. And venturing into public roads and concessions.

9. What did you feel when receiving The BIZZ award?

When we received The Bizz award, I felt strong emotions, it was the satisfaction of being recognized for our journey of constant hard work to achieve growth in an organized manner and provide quality products.

10. What message would you give to WORLDCOB entrepreneurs network?

The message that I can provide to WORLDCOB’s network of business owners is to be tenacious in reaching their dreams, it is possible to do so by following the deepest principles that each person has and this should provide the strength needed to overcome any obstacles that appear in order to achieve success.

5. ¿Quiénes son sus modelos de éxito a seguir?

Tenemos como modelo de éxito a seguir a las empresas líderes en el mundo por su grado de organización, ambiente laboral, su compromiso con el medio ambiente y la responsabilidad social con su entorno

6. ¿Cuál ha sido su momento más difícil y cómo lo sobrellevaron?

El momento más difícil para la empresa fue el déficit que nos dejó una obra con una entidad del estado, demoramos cerca de un año en recuperarnos y tuvimos el apoyo del sistema financiero para ejecutar proyectos inmobiliarios.

7. ¿Qué logros significantes ha alcanzado la empresa desde su creación?

 La empresa ha alcanzado significativos logros en sus 12 años, como el reconocimiento a Mejor Empresa Peruana en construcción por 4 años consecutivos, los premios latinoamericanos a la calidad en Ciudad de Panamá, Sao Paulo, Santiago y en noviembre en México DF, y los premios latinoamericanos al liderazgo en Puerto Vallarta, Nassau y Cusco.

8. ¿Qué proyectos ha planificado su empresa?
   

Tenemos nuevos proyectos en nuestro sector que suman más de 500 unidades en venta entre departamentos y oficinas, distribuidos en 5 proyectos. Así como incursionar en vías urbanas y  concesiones.

9. ¿Qué sintió al recibir el premio The BIZZ?

Al recibir el premio The Bizz sentí una emoción muy grande, pues era la satisfacción del reconocimiento a nuestra trayectoria de constante esfuerzo por lograr el crecimiento de la empresa de una manera ordenada y brindando productos de calidad.

10. ¿Qué mensaje les gustaría mandar a la red WORLDCOB de empresarios?

El mensaje que le puedo brindar a la red WORLDCOB de empresarios es que sean constantes para alcanzar sus sueños, que es posible hacerlo siguiendo los principios más profundos que cada uno tiene y que ello debe servir como la fuerza para superar los obstáculos que se presentan para lograr el éxito.

La RSE tiene que ser parte de cada Empresa, las estrategias debe basarse en la realidad de cada una de ellas y consolidarse conforme el crecimiento económico de las mismas.
